The October shoot for the Bancroft cup, held by the Gun Club yesterday afternoon at its grounds on Soldiers Field, was won by H. H. Bartlett sL., who broke 18 out of 20 birds thrown at unknown angles. R. C. Foster 3L. was second with a score of 14. This was the first of the series of monthly shoots for the possession of the Bancroft trophy which will become the property of the winner of either four successive victories or a total of seven.

The fall shoot for the novice cup was won by H. Bingham, who broke 20 out of 30 birds. O. A. Wyman '08 was second with a score of 19, and F. D. Webster '06 third with a score of 18.
