1908 VS. EXETER IN STADIUM

At 3 O'clock.--Exeter Eleven Very Strong. Freshmen Slow on the Offense.

The Freshman football team will play its first Cambridge game on the Stadium field, this afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Phillips Exeter Academy eleven. Exeter has an exceptionally strong team, averaging 175 pounds, and up to this time has defeated New Hampshire State College 15 to 0, Bowdoin 11 to 0, Bates 29 to 0, and Dean Academy 36 to 0.

The Freshman squad this year has been handicapped by a lack of heavy material. The defense has as yet been untried against heavy backs, but the team has shown some improvement in this department since the St. Mark's game. On the offence, however, the plays do not run off smoothly or with sufficient dash.

The line-up for today's game is as follows: 1908.  EXETER. Hadden, l.e.  r.e., O'Brien Pell, l.t.  r.t., Power Brewer, l.g.  r.g., Allen Grant, c.  c., Bankart Talbot, r.g.  l.g., MacFadyen Warren, r.t.  l.t., Peyton Ball, r.e.  l.e., Vaughan Starr, q.b.  q.b., T. Jones Lincoln, l.h.b.  r.h.b., Hart Derby, l.h.b.  l.h.b., H. Jones Mason, f.b.  f.b., Cooney
