A new half-course in geology, to be known as Geology 13, on topographic field methods for geologists, will be given this half-year. The first meeting will be held today at 4.30 o'clock in Room 53 of the Geological Museum.
The course will be conducted by Mr. F. E. Matthes, and will comprise lectures and field work during the autumn and spring, the lectures to be given on Thursdays at 4.30 o'clock and the field work, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. It is open only to students who have taken or are taking Geology 22 or Mining 28, and may be counted for the degrees S.B. or A.B.
