The work on the cinder track within the Stadium has been temporarily stopped owing to the snow. Only a few men are now at work sifting the cinders for a top dressing which will be spread as soon as the weather permits. It is now practically certain that the track will be ready for the early spring practice.
A small number of workmen have been kept at work about the Stadium during the winter, but as it is impossible to use cement in cold weather, their work has been mostly confined to cleaning up and smoothing off rough places in the construction.
