Basketball Practice Resumed.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In the first basketball practice since the Christmas recess, the University team yesterday defeated the second team by a score of 46 to 8. Most of the men who have been playing regularly on the first team were in the line-up, but the second team was handicapped by the absence of a number of men. The first team's passing and shooting for short baskets was excellent. Wretched covering by the second team, was largely responsible for the high score.

The line-up was as follows: UNIVERSITY TEAM.  SECOND TEAM. Underwood, l.f.  r.f., Ware Grant, r.f.  l.f., Gallagher Randall, c.  c., K. Smith Bigelow, l.g.  r.g., Quackenbush Gring, r.g.  l.g., Crane
