The Freshman basketball team was defeated by an upperclass team in the Gymnasium last night by a score of 19 to 14. The showing of the Freshman team was discouraging and both on the defense and offense the play lacked life and aggressiveness. This afternoon the Freshmen will have a short line-up with the University team.
Before the game M. Murray was elected permanent captain of the Freshman team.
