In a few days, work will be started on a new dormitory on Mt. Auburn street, next to Claverly Hall. The building will be a seven-story structure of brick and limestone, and will be built and owned by Isaac McLean. It will be equipped with an elevator, a house telephone system, both gas and electric light, and steam heat. It will also have squash courts. There will be seven double suites, one on each floor, and thirty-four single suites. In addition to a bath, each suite will have its own shower. The dormitory will be called Ridgely Hall, and will be ready for occupancy when college opens next fall.
