The University whist team will play in the tournament for the possession of the junior championship trophy offered by the American Whist Association, which will be held this evening at 7.30 o'clock at the rooms of the association in Boston. The following men will play on the University team: J. M. DeWolfe '04, captain, A. S. Newhall '05, H. H. Fox '04, and G. W. Putnam 1G.

The first round of the University tournament has just been finished and the following two best pairs from each of the three sections have advanced into the semi-final round: Section 1--G. W. Putnam 1G. and C. Martin '06, C. C. Washburn '05 and W. M. Wharfield '05; section 2--C. A. Barnes '05 and J. A. Gibson 2G., A. S. Newhall '05 and C. F. Lovejoy '04; section 3--J. M. DeWolfe '04 and V. K. Keesey '04, H. Frost 3L. and C. Ambrose 2L.

In the semi-final round, which will be started at once, each pair will play each of the other pairs, and the two pairs winning the most matches will compete in the final round, which will consist of two out of three matches. The winning pair will be awarded silver cups.
