At the trials last night for the Freshman Banjo Club the following men were retained: S. P. Henshaw, R. K. Tomlin, H. H. Sutphin, D. W. Streeter, N. P. Vollmer, P. T. Christie, G. A. Rivinius, H. L. Sigourney, E. C. Potter, J. B. Russell, H. M. Tillinghast, S. E. Thompson.
T. Sheldon, Jr., '05, G. R. Jones '05 and W. O. Batchelder '05 were last night elected members of the Banjo Club.
The ballot music from Professor J. W. Paine's opera, "Azara," will be played by the Boston Symphony Orchestra at its concerts in New York and Brooklyn this week.
The basketball games arranged with Dean Academy for the Freshman team for February 6 and for the second University team for February 20, have been cancelled.
