The University hockey team was compelled, on account of the heavy fall of snow, to cancel the game which was arranged for Saturday afternoon with the Cambridge Latin School. For next Wednesday afternoon, however, a practice game has been scheduled with the Arlington High School, which will be played on the University rink on Holmes Field. Several other practice games with teams in the vicinity of Cambridge will probably be arranged in the near future. The first game for Harvard, in the intercollegiate series, will be played with Princeton on Saturday evening, January 23, at the St. Nicholas rink in New York City.
The rink on Holmes Field has already been cleared of the recent snow and practice for the candidates for the University team will be held as usual this afternoon. There will probably be no further cut in the squad now at work.
