Gift of Books for Union Library

The Union library has just received from Mr. J. B. Gerrish '71 a gift of forty-eight books purchased by him in Europe last winter. The gift includes the works of George Meredith in thirty-two volumes, the works of J. Fielding in eleven volumes, and the works of Colley Cibber in five volumes. The last named volumes were published in London in 1736. Mr. Gerrish has given about four hundred volumes to the Union library in the last year.
