Seniors Win Baseball.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Senior baseball nine yesterday defeated the Freshman team in a one-sided game by the score of 15 to 5 and thereby won the interclass baseball championship. The Freshmen started off well with three runs in the first inning, but after that played a loose and nervous game. By sharp batting and intelligent base-running the Seniors scored almost at will.

Jackson pitched an excellent game for the Seniors, striking out nine men and allowing but one base on balls, and Marean caught creditably. For the Freshmen Castle was hit freely at times, but allowed only two bases on balls and struck out ten men. Nichols batted well and Gallagher accepted all his chances in right field.
