The University baseball practice yesterday consisted of the usual amount of work in batting and fielding, in neither of which was there any considerable improvement apparent. In batting, the men showed the old faults of knocking high flies and easy infield grounders, and in fielding the work was rather unsteady. No base-running or bunting was tried.
