C.H. Carter 2G. has won the Francis Fisher cricket bat, having made the best batting record this season, with an average of 30.8. W.N. Taylor '08 was second best with an average of 15.5. F.C. Taylor '06 has won the Francis Fisher ball, with a bowling average of 5.5. J.Q. Tingley '05 made an average of 3.83, but is ineligible for the ball as he did not play in nine games.

The prospects for the cricket team next year are unusually good, for eleven out of the seventeen men who have played on this year's team will return to College. These men are: C.H. Carter 2G., W.N. Taylor '03, P.F. Rothermel '05, F.C. Taylor '06, D. Tyng 1G., S.B. Trainer '04, A. Tyng '04, S.F.T. Brock '06, H. Morgan '05, J.Q. Tingley '05, J.W. Brock '05.
