SENIORS WIN TRACK GAMES.

The annual interclass track games held yesterday afternoon were won by the Seniors, who made forty-one and two thirds points. This is the fourth year that 1901 has won the class track games. For second place the Juniors and the Freshmen were tied, each winning twenty-three points. The Sophomores scored sixteen and one-third points. On account of the bad weather this week, the track was in very poor condition, and fast time in the runs was out of the question. The only good performance was in the mile run which was won by H. B. Clark '01 in 4m. 36 3-5s. H. S. Knowles '02 was a good second.

The showing in the field events was very poor. There were few performances made in the weight events that gave any indication of good material, and the pole vault was almost as discouraging. The soft condition of the runways accounted in part for the mediocre work in the jumps.

There was some good work done by individual men. W. G. Clerk '01 won the 220 yards dash and was second in the 100. E. C. Rust '04, who was second to Clerk in the 220, won the quarter in creditable time. S. G. Ellis '01 was also placed in two events.
