Germanic Museum Casts Arrive.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The first instalment of Emperor William's gift of casts to the Germanic Museum arrived in Boston Thursday on the Hamburg-American Line steamship Adria. The shipment consists of 118 cases of casts and parts of casts, and includes many of the largest and most valuable pieces in the Emperor's gift. The casts will be transferred to the Museum early next week, and the work of mounting them will then begin. There are about 80 cases yet to come which are expected to arrive in two shipments in the near future. The Museum will be closed until October 1, after which it will be open to the public daily.
