Handball with Y. M. C. U.

The first matches of the handball tournament with the Boston Young Men's Christian Union, which were played in Boston yesterday, resulted as follows: Baxter defeated Richberg (H.) 21-15, 21-17: Buxbaum defeated Conlin (H.) 21-11, 21-3. The tournament will continue the rest of this week and one day of next week. Sixteen matches in all will be played, half of them in Boston and half on the courts at the Hemenway Gymnasium.
