The first shoot for the $100 Parker gun will be held on Soldiers Field this afternoon from 2.30 to 5 o'clock. Each man will shoot at 4 strings of 30 birds each, which will be thrown from a Magau trap at unknown angles, the sum of the three best strings, with handicap added, to count. The shoots will be held on Monday and Thursday of this week and next, but any contestant may shoot two strings in the same afternoon. In case of a tie, each man will shoot at 30 more birds, and in case of a further tie they will shoot it off "miss-and-out." A silver cup will be given to the maker of the highest actual score, and if enough men are entered another silver cup will be given to the maker of the highest actualscore, and if enough men are entered another silever cup will be given as a second prize in the handicap shooting. Men may enter the shoot on the grounds.
