Few Men for Metropolitan Races.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Only enough men to form two crews reported at the Weld and Newell Boathouses, yesterday, for the graded crews which are to be entered in the annual regatta of the Metropolitan Amateur Rowing Association. All men who intend to try for these crews should report at their respective boathouses this afternoon. An effort will then be made to make up a junior eight and four oared at the Weld, and as many crews as possible will be formed at the Newell. Unless more men come out, no crews will be entered.

At a meeting of the Newell Boat Club, yesterday, the following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, R. F. Manning '04; vice-president, R. D. Humphries '05; secretary and treasurer, H. B. Webster '05; captain, R. Foster '04.
