In the trial for the University tennis team yesterday B. S. Prentice '05 defeated M. H. Birckhead '03, 6-4, 5-7, 9-7; and as a result of this match Prentice was chosen as sixth regular member of the team, and Birckhead becomes substitute. It was decided that the six members of the team should play in the doubles in the dual meet as follows: Warland and Leonard, Blagden and Bishop, Larned and Prentice.

The regular members of the team will play practice matches on Jarvis Field today and tomorrow, preparatory to the dual meet with Yale in Cambridge on Saturday.
