Freshman Baseball Discouraging

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshman baseball practice yesterday was on the whole rather discouraging. Although the bunting was fairly good, the batting was weak, the fielding very poor and the throwing still inaccurate. Most of the time was spent in batting infield files to the second team while the first team practiced running bases. The pitchers, Burns and Castle, showed some improvement in watching men on bases and getting their throws off.

There will be short practice tomorrow beginning at 2 o'clock in order to give the men an opportunity to watch the University game. On Monday the team will play Andover at Andover.
