University Baseball Practice

The University baseball team held regular practice yesterday. The work consisted of the usual batting practice, and a long, hard fielding practice. The batting was rather discouraging, as it still showed the disastrous faults of mistiming the ball and hitting too hard, which have characterized the batting all through the season. The fielding was fairly sharp and accurate, but the outfield was trifle slow in starting. No bunting or base-running practice was held.
