The summer course in physical training held under the direction of Dr. Sargent at the Hemenway Gymnasium will extend over a period of five weeks, beginning July 6 and closing August 12. The course consists of lectures on anthropometry, applied anatomy, physiology and hygiene, and the theory and practice of physical training. The practical exercises cover a wide range of subjects, included under free movements, light and heavy gymnastics, track and field athletics and general developing exercises. Four hours each day will be devoted to lectures and demonstrations and four hours to the physical exercises. There is an exhibition, which invited guests may witness on visitors' days, which will this year be August 10, 11 and 12. Dr. Sargent will be assisted in the work by a number of special lecturers and instructors.
