The annual meeting of the Officers' Fund Association will be held this afternoon, at which two new trustees will be elected. The Association was formed ten years ago, to provide an emergency fund for the benefit of any instructors in the University, whether members of the Association or not, who should be found in especial financial need. The fund has been used in a number of cases.

The average number of yearly contributors has been 53, and the yearly contribution, $600. The amount of funds now on hand is $1800. Following are the present trustees: President Eliot, Professor Shaler, Professor Richardson, Professor Ames, Professor Hall.
