Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The University baseball squad will start from the Square at 2.15 o'clock this afternoon, and leave for Philadelphia on the 3 o'clock train from the South Station. Arriving in Philadelphia at 10.30 o'clock this evening, the men will spend the night at the Arline Hotel, and tomorrow afternoon the team will play the University of Pennsylvania on Franklin Field at 2.30 o'clock. After the game, the men will return on the Federal express, which arrives in Boston early Sunday morning.
Of late, the work of the team has been unsatisfactory. In spite of the untiring coaching which the men have received, they have not as yet acquired anything approaching steadiness in either batting or bunting. The general fault seems to be that of hitting too hard, and knocking fly balls to the outfield. Although the base-running showed some improvement in the Brown and Wesleyan games it is as yet in a very crdue state of development, as was clearly demonstrated in the Cornell game. Throughout the season, the fielding has been the strongest feature of the work, but even in this department occasional lapses have been noticeable, several inexcusable errors having been made in the last two games.
In the practice yesterday afternoon, the usual batting work for all the men took place, special care being taken in the bunting. The fielding practice which followed was fast and accurate.
