Blagden Wins Interclass Tennis.

In the final match yesterday for the interclass tennis championship W. P. Blagden '04 defeated J. I. B. Larned '05, 7-5, 6-4, 6-4. Blagden played a very fast, aggressive game and continually put Larned on the defensive. Larned, however, was the steadier of the two and frequently won points on Blagden's driving into the net. Both men placed accurately on the side and back lines, except on cross-court strokes, but were somewhat weak on the back-hand. Blagden ran to the net very often, where Larned was unable to pass him. His service, though erratic, was in general effective, and repeatedly forced an easy return.
