The games of the Leiter Cup series scheduled for yesterday resulted as follows: Boiler Makers 14, Egyptian Deities 8; Losers 10, Dagoes 5; Pie Faces 14, Muffers 5; Grinds 9, Strollers 0 (by default). The game scheduled between the Boers and Stewed Prunes was not played, but will be played later in the season if a field becomes available.
The following games will be played today at 4 o'clock: No Names vs. Muffers, east diamond, Soldiers Field; Storks vs. Pie Faces, west diamond, Soldiers Field; Sleeping Beauties vs. Dew Drops, Second nine diamond, Soldiers Field; Indians vs. Stewed Prunes, Nortons Field.
It is impossible to allow games to be played on other than scheduled dates, as every field is assigned up to the close of the series, which must be finished before May 26 on account of the game between the All-Leiter team and the Second nine.
