In the interclass tennis tournament yesterday W. P. Blagden defeated A. Hunt for the Junior class championship, 6-4, 6-0, 6-3. In the match between the winners of the Sophomore and Freshman tournaments, J. I. B. Larned '05 defeated R. N. Smither '06, 6-1, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5. In this match both men played a very cautious game and seldom made very fast strokes. Smither played the more aggressive game, but could not overcome Larned's remarkable steadiness.
The match between the winners of the Senior and Junior tournaments will be played at 3 o'clock this afternoon between M. H. Birckhead '03 and W. P. Blagden '04. Blagden should win the match as ordinarily he plays a faster game than Birckhead.
