The baseball game between the Freshman team and the Technology freshmen, which was to have been played this afternoon, has been given up.

The Freshman baseball team played a five-inning practice game with the second nine yesterday in which the final score was 4 to 4. Eight hits were made by the second team, while the Freshmen made only three. At bat the Freshmen were weak; their fielding was only fair, and their throwing slow and inaccurate, the ball being beaten to first several times on slow infield hits. Their base-running, however, was good, as seven bases were stolen. Hammond pitched a good game for the second team.
