Crews Show More Steadiness.

The two University crews rowed yesterday in the same orders as on Wednesday, and during the practice went over the mile and seven-eighths course rowing in fours and eights. Coach Higginson directed the work and paid special attention to getting a clean, long finish. In spite of the rather rough water both boats were considerably steadier than on Wednesday, and the crews rowed with more life and drive. When rowing in eights the stroke was, with a few exceptions, very low, rarely exceeding 28 to the minute.
