The conference of presidents of the Christian Associations in the Eastern colleges met for the second day in Brooks House yesterday. In the morning sessions J. E. Steen '04 of Princeton, led the discussion on "The Duties of the Association President;" W. H. Webber, of Wesleyan, on "The Relations of the President;" and A. B. Parson '03, Harvard, on the "Use of Committees." In the afternoon session questions relating to Bible study and to membership were taken up. Together with the delegates of the Episcopal societies, a joint conference of philanthropic and religious work was held in the evening. The leaders were Mr. Thomas Jays, of England, R. Edwards, Yale '01, and delegates from Pennsylvania, Yale, Princeton and Harvard.
The conference of the president and secretaries of the Episcopal societies, meeting in the St. Paul's Society Rooms, discussed during the day the "Problems of Presidents and Secretaries," "Bible Study and Religious Meetings," "Membership" and "The Church Students" Missionary Association and the Northfield Conference."
Both conferences will continue their sessions today.
