Engineering Society Lectures.

At 8 o'clock this evening, in Room 110, Pierce Hall, Mr. C. O. Mailloux will give the first of two illustrated lectures under the auspices of the Engineering Society. His subject will be "Train Resistance and Train Energy." Mr. Mailloux is a prominent consulting engineer in New York, and has made many investigations in regard to the dynamical aspect of train acceleration.

The second lecture, on some details of the theory of electric train movement, will be given at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning.

The lectures will be open to the public.
