Baseball Work Erratic.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The University baseball squad was yesterday given long batting work at the nets, followed by infield and outfield practice on the regular diamond.

While spirited, the latter work was very erratic, and exhibited a tendency on the part of some men to try to field ground balls before they had been really stopped. This resulted in much fumbling and wild throwing.

Tomorrow the team will play Colby on Soldiers Field at 3 o'clock in its first game of the season.
