Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Rev. Henry Van Dyke h'94, has accepted the invitation to preach the Baccalaureate Sermon on June 14.
Dr. Van Dyke, after a course at Princeton, was graduated from the Princeton Theological Seminary in 1877. The doctor's degree has been conferred upon him by Princeton (1884), Harvard (1894), and Yale (1896). He was given the degree of Doctor of Laws by the Union Theological Seminary of New York in 1898. He has served on the Board of Preachers of Harvard. During his long pastorate at the Brick Church in New York City, Dr. Van Dyke became known as one of the most powerful preachers of the Presbyterian Church, and as poet and prose writer he has attained a high reputation. In 1900 he became professor of English at Princeton.
