As no decisive results were reached at the third meeting of the Athletic sub-committee with the Yale athletic representatives at New Haven on Friday of last week, a fourth conference will be held at Springfield today to continue the discussion of eligibility rules and administration of athletics. The two committees will be composed of the same representatives as heretofore.
At the three conferences already held, the ground has been so carefully covered that, in spite of the previous failures to agree, it seems very probable that definite action in some direction will be taken today. Each committee now well understands the other's position, and it remains for them only to reach a satisfactory settlement of the differences.
The sub-committee will leave Boston at 9 o'clock this morning and will probably return this evening.
