The practice of the University basketball team this week has been very unsatisfactory. Randall has not been playing, on account of injuries sustained in Saturday's game; and on Monday night K. Smith and Humphries were so seriously injured that it is questionable if either will be able to play in the final game with Yale on Friday evening. In a practice game with the Freshman team, last evening, the University team succeeded in winning only by a score of 23 to 12. There was little teamwork and all of the men threw baskets poorly.
