As the rainy weather yesterday prevented outdoor baseball work, the University squad had long practice in the cage. B. Wendell '02 and Chesbro were the only coaches present. Following the batting work, which consisted entirely of bunting practice, the men were drilled in handling ground balls, and in base-running. The men played with much spirit, but showed little development in speed or technique.
