At a meeting of the hockey team last night T. B. Souther '04 was elected captain for 1904. Souther played forward on his class team in his Freshman and Sophomore years and on the University team this year.
The prospects of a winning team next year are fairly good as Foster and Lovering are the only members of this year's team who are not coming back. Of the substitutes, H. D. Kernan '05 and D. A. Newhall '06 are the most promising. The team should have a strong defense in Carr and Clothier.
