Fifteen crews rowed on the river yesterday, eight from the Newell and seven from the Weld. The Freshmen were coached as usual by Vail and Wray from singles, and H. Bullard '02 coached the Newell crews from the launch. F. L. Higginson '00 was also on board the launch, but did not coach. The first Weld Sophomores were coached by J. F. Perkins 3L., from the coxswain's seat.
