HARVARD WINS AT BASKETBALL

Brown Defeated, 42 to 7, in a Fast Game.--Good Team Play.

The University basketball team defeated Brown by the score of 42 to 7 in a fast game at Providence last night. Brown scored but one goal in the first half and five goals from fouls in the second half; Harvard scored 28 points during the first half and 14 in the second. The University team played well together and showed improvement in goal throwing. The best work for Harvard was done by Randall who scored 11 out of the 21 goals, and by Hanavan who was forced by a sprained arm to retire in the second half. De Wolte and Ingalls excelled for Brown.
