Commander Robert E. Peary, U. S. N., lectured last night in the Fogg Lecture Room under the auspices of the Travellers' Club on "Field Work of the Peary Arctic Club." He told of his experiences on his last expedition and gave a detailed account of four years' continuous Arctic work; the lecture was illustrated by several maps and a large number of stereopticon pictures. The most important result of the expedition was the attainment of the most northerly known land.

In conclusion Commander Peary stated that in his mind there was no doubt that the North Pole would be reached in a comparatively short time.
