Commander Robert E. Peary, U. S. N., will lecture this evening at 8 o'clock in the Fogg Lecture Room, under the auspices of the recently organized Travellers' Club, on "Field Work of the Peary Arctic Club." A limited number of tickets, remaining undistributed, have today been placed in the office of the Union and may be obtained by members. Admission will be by ticket only until 7.55 p. m., when the doors will be opened to the public.
Commander Peary has been engaged in Arctic discovery for over fifteen years, and has made several attempts to reach the North Pole. He is the author of "Northward Over the Great Ice," and of various contributions to geographical and popular magazines on Arctic exploration. In his lecture this evening he will give a summary of the geographical results obtained during his last expedition to the Arctic regions. The lecture will be illustrated by the stereopticon.
