Freshmen Defeat M. I. T.

The Freshman basketball team last night defeated the Massachusetts Institute of Technology team in the Technology gymnasium by a score of 42 to 23. This was the first game of the season for the M. I. T. team and the score at the end of the first half stood 19 to 18 in favor of the Freshman. In the second half, however, the superior endurance of the 1906 team began to tell and the outcome of the game was not long in doubt.
