The Pasteur Medal Debate, which is the final round for the interclass debaqting championship, will be held between the Seniors and the Freshmen on Friday, March 20. The question, selected by the French Department and the University Debating Club, dealing--according to the conditions of gift of the medal--with a subject of contemporary French politics, is: "Resolved, That it is for the best interests of France to annex Morocco." The Pasteur Medal. provided for by a gift of Baron Pierre de Coubertin in 1898, will be awarded to the best debater, whether on the winning or lising team.
The trials for the choice of team will be held on Saturday, February 21, and Tuesday, February 24. The Freshmen will have the choice of sides for the debate.
