In the second day of practice in the eage yesterday, the baseball candidates were again given light work. Chesbro, of the New York American League team, coached the men: Keeler has not yet come.

In several of the squads the men as signed have reported irregularly and at the wrong hours. This has been particularly noticeable in the University and second team squads, in which, furthermore the playing has been very careless. The work of the Freshman squad, in the two days work, has been good.
