At the last meeting of the Board of Overseers, it was voted to concur with the President and Fellows in their votes electing Henry Pickering Bowditch, M.D., LL.D., D.Sc., to the George Higginson Professorship of Physiology. It was also voted to establish the Wales Professorship of Sanskrit, the Wales bequest made nearly fifty years ago having fallen due; the Charles Eliot Professorship of Landscape Architecture; and the Nelson Robinson, Jr., Professorship of Architecture, both of which have been founded through funds presented by Mr. Nelson Robinson.
