At a meeting of the Gymnastic Club last night by-laws were adopted and the following officers elected: President, A. Tyng '04; vice-president and captain. G. F. Evans '05; secretary and treasurer. R. M. Emery 2L. Action on the challenge received from Columbia was left in the hands of Captain Evans. It is hoped to enter a team in the intercollegiate gymnastic meet to compete with Yale, Princeton, Columbia and Pennsylvania, and also in the various Y. M. C. A. meets held in the vicinity of Boston during the winter. In the early part of March an exhibition will probably be given in the Gymnasium. Regular practice will commence today under the direction of Mr. Dohs and Captain Evans, and will be held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 4.30 o'clock.
