The steel stands which were used on the old football field are being moved into position about the new baseball diamond, and two sections are already in place. When all the stands have been placed they will occupy three sides of the field and will seat about 5,000 people. As long as the weather permits, work will continue on the new diamond. Considerable grading, however, will have to be done in the spring, especially on the outfield which will probably not be finished this year.
