President Eliot arrived in Cambridge from his Western trip late last night. The President left Cambridge on Wednesday, December 2, and has made the following speeches: in St. Louis on Friday, before the Pedagogical Society, and before the Contemporary Club; on Saturday at the dinner of the Associated Harvard Clubs in St. Louis; and on Tuesday, before the students of the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor. In addition to these speeches for which he had planned, President Eliot has delivered several impromptu addresses by special request.
