The University chess team which will play against Yale on November 20 will be composed of the nine men who make the best showing in the semi-finals of the tournament now being played, and a tenth man to be chosen by a method of challenge. The four men who evidence most ability in the final matches of the tournament will compose the University team which will compete with teams from Yale, Princeton, and Columbia for the intercollegiate chess championship. The intercollegiate tournament will be held on December 28, 29, and 30 in the Columbia Grammar School, New York.
